⼀场震惊全台的炸弹攻击案，以无辜死伤的悲剧收场，拆弹专家宋康任（林柏宏饰）从此⼀蹶不振、退出前线。3年后，他与刑警妻⼦黄欣（宋芸桦饰）搭上台北直达⾼雄、仅需96分钟的⾼铁列⾞，却在途中接获前上司李杰（李李仁饰）传来的警告──列车上藏有炸弹！
为挽回婚姻，物理补教名师刘楷（王柏杰饰）也搭上这班列车，同车乘客还有昔⽇爆炸案罹难者的家属、准备求婚的恋⼈、返乡的⽣意⼈⋯⋯全都被卷入这场突如其来的死亡危机。列车⼀路往南行驶，时间紧迫倒数。宋康任不仅必须在96分钟内找出炸弹、解除危机，更要直视⾃⼰深埋⼼底、不可告⼈的秘密。在双重压⼒逼迫下，他能否成功拯救所有⼈的性命？
