Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu's family has brought back her ashes to Taiwan following her passing in Japan earlier this February. Her husband, Koo Jun Yup, was seen in tears as he carried his wife's urn home. Barbie's younger sister, Dee Hsu, confirmed that no funeral will be held. In a statement, Dee said: "Despite the cold weather, Barbie is finally home. We believe she is at peace and free from worry in heaven. As Barbie was always private, we will not be holding a funeral. If you miss her, please keep her in your heart. Our family appreciates your love and support for Barbie."

原本外传大S灵堂将设在龙岩会馆，并会举办告别式让亲友送别，但大S今午抵台后，小S透过经纪人发声。她感谢外界的关心表示：“感谢各位媒体朋友，在如此寒冷的天气，等待熙媛回来，她已平安到家，相信此刻她已在天上开开心心、无忧无虑！我们不会帮熙媛办告别式，因为她一向都是喜欢低调的人，若思念她，就放在心中吧！我们全家感激您对熙媛的爱～”
小S日前证实姐姐大S病逝的噩耗，当时说到：“谢谢大家的关心！新年期间，我们全家来日本旅游，我最亲爱善良的姐姐熙媛，因得了流感并发肺炎，不幸地离开了我们。感恩这辈子能成为她的姐妹，彼此照顾、相伴，我会永远感激她、怀念她！珊～一路好走！永远爱你 together remember forever。”
